The majority of my photos consist of urban images which capture and reflect life within the city. I find the microcosm of cities to be visually interesting and often overlooked. Most cities have their own rhythm and tend to be so busy that the "small things" get lost in the noise. Many images when taken out of the bigger context become great pieces of art.

Urban photography is different from nature photography because of the "visual clutter" and movement that fights for the viewer's attention. Cars passing by, people walking and going about their daily routines, provide the opportunity to capture a great image on film. Many of the photos I shoot are images which have been seen hundreds and thousands of times before but are not looked at with the sense of "awe", the way one might look at a beautiful landscape image.
